En studie om kunskapso?verfo?ring vid o?ppen innovation genom crowdsourcing

Organizations that want to maintain a good innovation capability can seek knowledge both within and outside its boundaries. Opening up Innovation processes, through so-called open innovation, allows organizations to combine internal and external knowledge sources in order to include previously excluded perspectives to the Innovation process. This study examines how knowledge is created and transferred when conducting open innovation through crowdsourcing. It is done based on Nonaka?s (1991; 1994) theory of how knowledge is created through conversion processes, where implicit knowledge can be converted into explicit knowledge and vice versa.

This is a graduation project in Innovation Management, which seeks to enlighten new theories within the major subject ? the multi?faceted Innovation process.The reader is hereby invited to an insight in the more complex perspectives of these types of theories than what has previously been explained in simplified ways.We have conducted research on a company within the cleantech market; Cellkraft AB. The company develops and produces fuel cells amongst other products, which have emerged during their research and development in the fuel cell technology. Cellkraft works in a high?tech frontline market where innovation is key.

Purpose: The purpose of this study is to investigate the Innovation process of companies, and to analyse how important success factors and obstacles are in their Innovation process.Method: The investigation strategy used for this essay was to interview companies that work with innovations. The essay has a qualitative approach. Both primary ? in the form of interviews - and secondary data ? literature found in books, scientific articles and internet - have been used to achieve our results.Results: The result of this essay is: there is not just one inovation process that is applicable to all companies. On the other hand, there are some guidelines that could be followed in the process.

Titel: Innovate or Stagnate! ? Open innovation in manufacturing small and medium-sized businesses in Småland.The purpose of the study is that, from a leadership perspective (innovationmanagement), create a better understanding of open innovation in manufacturing small and medium-sized enterprises. The study therefore intends to contribute to the understanding of how open Innovation processes leads to greater innovation in manufacturing small and medium sized businesses.We have used a qualitative research method and adopted an abductiveapproach. We made interpretations and created meaning based on our research results.Our theoretical framework is based primarily on Chesbroughs (2003) research on open innovation. Based on this model, we have selected a number of other theories, which we perceived as prerequisites for small andmedium sized companies in open Innovation processes.

LSD - Hallucination eller flödeseffektiv innovation

Increased competition in the IT industry has sparked a need for developing faster Innovation processes with more predictable output. One of the biggest issues when it comes to achieving a faster flow through the Innovation process lies in managing its high degree of variation. Proposing a solution to this problem, Lean Software Development (LSD), was developed to provide a framework for how IT companies should organize its software development process to achieve increased speed and quality. This study examines to which extent LSD, as a set of values, principles, methods and tools, can be used to improve flow efficiency in the Innovation process. A case study of a multinational IT company was made by conducting ten semi-structured interviews with current employees.

Open Innovation inom offentlig förvaltning

Open Innovation är ett relativt nytt arbetssätt som innebär att organisationer tar in extern kunskap med syftet att utveckla interna processer och vidga den egna kompetensen. Studien utgår ifrån ett kvalitativt perspektiv där relevanta teorier hämtats ifrån tryckt litteratur, vetenskapliga artiklar samt empiri som består av en omvärldsanalys samt intervjustudie med ett antal individer med varierande kunskap inom områdena; Open Innovation samt medborgardialog kopplat till offentlig förvaltning. Det framkom i studien att faktorer som transparens, verktyg samt process är viktiga byggstenar i en Open Innovation-process. Utifrån studien har författarna tagit fram en metod som skall synliggöra hur de olika områdena samverkar med varandra och vilka verktyg som kan tillämpas i processen (se nedan). Författarna fann genom studien att hanteringen utav de idéer och förslag som hämtas från Open Innovation-processer är den viktigaste delen i processen.

Purpose: This study`s purpose is to investigate the role of a business incubator in the strategic decision situations during the process of a new venture startup. It also aims to explore the methods and instruments the incubator and its advisers applies during the process.Methodology: This study is built on the basis of a hermeneutic approach with qualitative method and abductive design. The empirical material collected consist of interviews from two case studies and secondary data collection from different related sources.Theoretical perspective: The theory in the study consists of the elements of previous research on Innovation processes and entrepreneurship. To analyze the data, models and theories related to decision making, incubation, process theories and organizational theories.Empirical foundation: The empirical material consists of interviews and data from two completed case studies. Additionally consist a relatively large part of the empirical data out of a comprehensive information retrieval from various secondary sources such as internet, newsletters and annual reports.Conclusion: The assay was able to detect not just one, but a variety of roles that the incubator occupies at different stages of the Innovation process.

Organisationsfaktorerna arbetskrav och arbetskontroll i relation till ett gruppklimat som främjar innovation

I en allt mer föränderlig omgivning utgör innovation ett nödvändigt redskap. Syftet med denna studie är att undersöka om arbetskrav och arbetskontroll samt interaktionen dem emellan har en betydelse för ettgruppklimat som främjar innovation. Arbetskrav och arbetskontroll definieras i denna studie utifrån Karaseks teori om krav- och kontrollmodellen. Innovation definieras utifrån Wests teori om de fyra gruppklimatfaktorerna som främjar innovation. Resultatet baseras på en enkätundersökning med 83 respondenter fördelade på 20 arbetsgrupper inom den privata sektorn.

Their financial revenue comes from advertising spots on the client and registered paid subscribers. Together with Spotify, we have come to a certain focus area where Spotify themselves feel that there is potential for improvement. This area of focus concerns the conversion from using Spotify's free "Open" to the payment options Unlimited and Premium.Objective: We will use an Innovation process to achieve an innovation grant that will create more attraction to the payment services.
